Crossrail Ltd do not plan to fix these as the project office has started to demobilise.
Having carried out a detailed check of www.learninglegacy.crossrail.co.uk we’ve also assessed that it would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the No. 2 Regulations to fix all documents published www.learninglegacy.crossrail.co.uk since 23 September 2018.
We’ve assessed the cost of fixing the issues with PDFs. We believe that doing so now would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations.
PDF documents we publish in the future may not meet accessibility standards, however Crossrail Ltd will provide alternative formats upon request.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
This website will be reviewed on annual basis to assess its accessibility.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 23 September 2020. It was last reviewed on 02 October 2020.
This website was last tested in August 2020. The test was carried out by Studio 24
We used this approach to decide on a sample of pages to test – pages to be tested were determined by the number of page views (highest to lowest) with the use of Google Analytics to determine the key high-performing pages. We then used Lighthouse to test the website’s general health and Pa11y analysis to show details of the issues that are present on our site.
Tests were conducted on frequently visited pages using a combination of automated and manual testing.
